Lake Benson Park
Lake Benson Park is a great place to visit in the Garner NC area. It’s an oasis of green space, beautiful views, and fun activities for kids! Located just off US Highway 70 business, Lake Benson Park offers something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, picnic shelters, and playgrounds, as well as fishing opportunities on the lake.

You can reserve one of the shelters on the lake year-round or visit any time between 11 am – sunset. The shelter includes tables and benches so it’s perfect for all occasions. And if it starts raining before you’re done eating? No worries – there are also covered areas under a large pavilion where everyone can enjoy themselves while waiting out inclement weather.
If fishing is something you enjoy, you’ll be happy to know that there are multiple fishing docks on the lake.
If your family wants some outdoor fun for kids of all ages then Lake Benson Park is perfect for you. There’s an area with swings, slides and climbing features as well as basketball courts and horseshoe pits. The park also has nice restrooms so it’s a great place to go before hiking one of the trails or going out on the water!
