Marbles Kids Museum

Marbles Kids Museum is an interactive museum where children of all ages can explore and discover. Marbles offers a variety of exhibits, programs, and events that are specially designed for kids 2-12 years old to enjoy. Marbles features galleries with hands-on activities, as well as exhibition spaces with rotating displays of both nationally recognized artists and regional talent. Marble’s also has a wide range of educational programming on topics such as art appreciation, science exploration, community engagement, and the natural world.

At Marbles there are always new things to learn about or experience – making it one of the best places in the Raleigh NC area to visit with kids!

All visitors are required to wear a face mask regardless of age or vaccination status at Marbles. Face masks should also be worn by children under 5, per the City of Raleigh mandate. Thank you for your cooperation and contributions that keep kids healthy and happy!

Now let’s talk about the fun stuff for the kids to enjoy at the museum! Marbles offers many different types of activities for children to explore and enjoy. There are “Inside Out” exhibits like the Butterfly House, which is a one-of-a-kind destination that will give you an up-close experience with over 60 species of butterflies from around the world.

There’s also Marbles Kids Bookstore where kids can browse through new books or shop in person at our Marbles store! The bookstore has something for every child – picture books, classics, activity books, art supplies, and more! You’ll always find lots of fun things to do here whether your little ones want to read quietly on their own or work together as part of a group project.
