The North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) is an art museum located in Raleigh, North Carolina. With over 11,000 works of art from all different periods and cultures, the NCMA has something for everyone! The museum was founded in 1952 by a group seeking to bring together “a great collection of original paintings, sculptures and other objects that would be available to the public without restriction.” Being local to the Raleigh NC area the North Carolina Museum of Art is a great place to visit.
